Overview
Facebook Watch, Page videos, and fb.watch links still carry a lot of marketing and community video. PasteGrab accepts public Watch URLs and fb.watch redirects, then prepares MP4 or MP3 on our servers.
Only download video you own or are allowed to store. If preview fails, confirm the video is public, not limited to a closed group, and copied from the Watch permalink — not a feed scroll position.
Desktop and mobile steps, format choices, and common Facebook URL errors are covered below.

How it works
Open the public Facebook post and copy its share link. A direct link looks like https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1010476704965112. A profile or search page will not work.
Paste the link into PasteGrab. Pick Best quality, MP4, MP3, 720p, or Smallest file before you preview it.
Select Preview formats to confirm the title, length, and available files. If the page is private or unavailable, you will see an error before starting a download.
Start the job and follow its progress. When the file is ready, use the download link to save it to your device.
Benefits
PasteGrab gets the file from a public Facebook page. You do not need to upload a copy first.
Pick video, audio, the best available quality, or a smaller file before you start.
Copy a Facebook share link on your phone or computer and open PasteGrab in your browser.
The job page shows what is happening and gives you a link when the file is ready.
Features
Check the title, length, and available formats before you download.
Choose MP4 for video or MP3 when you only need the sound.
Use the Paste button when your browser allows clipboard access, or type the link into the field.
If a link is unavailable, the preview tells you before you wait for a file.
Output
PasteGrab exposes format presets before preview and may reveal additional streams afterward depending on what Facebook publishes for that URL. Video pages typically offer MP4 output; audio-heavy Facebook posts may map cleanly to MP3.
If you need the smallest possible file for messaging apps or email attachments, choose Smallest file. For archival or re-editing, start with Best quality and only downshift if storage or bandwidth requires it.
| Format | Best for |
|---|---|
| Best quality | Merges the best video and audio streams available on the Facebook page into a single file. |
| MP4 | Standard H.264-style output suitable for playback, slides, and most editors. |
| MP3 | Audio-only export when the Facebook post is music, speech, or background audio you do not need visually. |
| 720p | Caps video height for faster downloads and smaller storage on long Facebook clips. |
| Smallest file | Prioritizes compact output when quality is less important than speed. |
